The original final Pash show was canceled a few weeks back due to the massive amounts of snow we got in DC, but thankfully it got re-scheduled for tonight. It's a backstage show at Black Cat, and I'm pretty sure it'll be a sell-out. Doors open at 8:30 with openers Olivia Mancini and Typefighter (Ryan of Pash's new project).I'm sad for the band's breakup but grateful it's ending on a good note. show reminder: Phantogram at DC9
After being cooped up for a week because of the snow and multiple show cancellations, we're finally getting back into the swing of it tonight with Phantogram at DC9. I love love love this duo (Sara Barthel and Josh Carter) and included Eyelid Movies on my favorite albums for 2009. When I got the full-length last year it was an import, but thankfully it's now available domestically (through Barsuk on CD and Ghostly International on vinyl).Doors for the show this evening open at 8:30 and tickets are just $8. Opening up is Junk Culture and Sesshin No-Fi. Should be a lot of fun!
