Speaking of Pianos in NYC, I’m excited to announce that Faces On Film will set up residency at this fine establishment every Wednesday in October. They were also featured on a surprisingly pleasing compilation for Seventeen back in April. Who knew! All we have from these guys right now is the splendid little EP Seven Sisters, but you can also sample a couple new demos on their MySpace page. I definitely recommend this quartet if you like Modest Mouse.
