I haven't had much of a chance to check out the entire new disc from Darker My Love, but I love what I've heard so far. Tonight these guys will be opening up for an older band that I recently rediscovered - The Dandy Warhols. The show is at 9:30 Club and doors open at 7:00.
About three years have passed since I was introduced to Mother Mother (then they were just Mother). Last Gang released their sophomore full-length yesterday, and it's growing on me more and more with every listen.
Carried To Dust is the sixth album from Calexico. It's my favorite from these guys so far, and "Two Silver Trees" is for sure one of the best songs the year.

Now Or Heaven is out today from Merge, and it's every bit as good as the first full-length from The Broken West. I can't stop listening to it, so I may like it even better!
