favorite band of SXSW: We Have Band

For me, no performance at SXSW even came close to comparing to We Have Band. I saw them at Mohawk on Friday afternoon and then again on Saturday at EAR Studios for their live session on WOXY.com. I got to chat with the trio them after their set on Saturday and it truly was the highlight of the festival. Currently they're doing everything themselves (recording, mixing, etc.) and haven't committed to any record label for a full-length. "How To Make Friends" and "Honeytrap" were two tracks I hadn't heard yet, but of course I loved them. Hopefully we'll have something proper from them by the Fall. Can't wait!
