Guillemots (pronounced Gilly-Motz) has such a classic sound. The vocals are soft and delicate; the music is rich in magnificent strings and powerful baselines. Preceded by a few noteworthy EPs, Through The Windowpane is the band’s debut full-length. It was finally released in the UK last month, but there is no word on when or if it’ll be available domestically.
